Chief Financial Officer

Chris Bowman joined Sirius in July 2023 as Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Board in the following month. Chris brings nearly 25 years' accounting, finance and capital markets experience. Most recently Chris led the UK investment banking arm of Berenberg, a business division which he was brought in to build from new during his eight years at the company and which grew to become one of the UK's leading mid-market public company advisers.


Prior to this, Chris spent seven years in investment banking at Liberum, before which he worked in corporate finance at Canaccord and Credit Lyonnais. Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 2000.


As CFO, Chris manages the day-to-day financial operations and reporting for the Group, and its risk framework. Chris works alongside the Chief Executive Officer in delivering the Group's strategy.
